Crew tearing down and bundling pallet rack for a warehouse relocation

Warehouse Relocation Services in Louisville, KY

Moving a warehouse is the one project where downtime shows up on the invoice and the customer's doorstep at the same time. The lease end date is fixed, the new building is a different shape than the old one, and the pallet rack you own has to come down, travel, and go back up with teardown and reinstallation sequenced around shipping.

We are the warehouse relocation service Louisville operators call when the rack is the hard part. We plan the new layout first, tear down and label every component, coordinate transport, and reinstall in the new building — adding new rack where the plan needs it. Call (502) 521-1485.

How Our Warehouse Moving Services Work

    1

    Layout for the new building

We draw the new building from your floor plan before anything comes down, so you know which existing rack fits, where it goes, and what has to be added.

    2

    Teardown and labeling

Crews disassemble frames, beams, decking, and accessories, then tag and bundle everything by row and level so reinstall follows the drawing instead of guesswork.

    3

    Transport coordination

We stage bundles in reinstall order and coordinate trucks around both docks, so the new building is not buried in steel it cannot use yet.

    4

    Reinstallation and additions

Experienced installation crews we schedule and manage follow the new layout, with the system anchored to the floor, aligned and capacity-tagged. New material is added where the plan requires more positions.

    Moves We Handle Most

Lease-end moves with a hard date
    Consolidating two buildings into one
    Moving into taller clear-height space
Phased moves that keep one building shipping
Reusing existing rack plus adding new positions
Selective, pushback, drive-in, flow, and cantilever systems

    What a Warehouse Relocation Includes

A relocation starts with two drawings, not one. We document what you have today — manufacturer, frame heights and depths, beam lengths and capacities, decking — and lay out the new building from its floor plan, clear height, columns, and dock doors.

That comparison tells you how much existing rack transfers, how many pallet positions you gain or lose, and what new components close the gap. You get it on paper with an itemized quote before a single beam comes down.

Teardown is scheduled around your last shipping day. Every bundle is labeled to its row and level in the new layout, then staged so trucks unload in install order. Reinstallation follows the drawing: anchored to the floor, aligned and capacity-tagged, with new material added where the layout requires it.

One point of contact runs the whole move — layout, teardown, transport timing, reinstall, and any new rack — so nothing falls between a mover, a rack dealer, and an installer.
