Drive-In Rack for Radcliff, Kentucky Warehouses

A lot of the calls we get from Radcliff start with too many aisles for the number of SKUs you actually carry. Drive-through racking usually fixes it, because it changes how much of a North Wilson Road floor plate is actually available to store product without moving a wall.

Given the value of bulk SKUs held deep while the pick face stays selective, we model this against a second configuration on the same Radcliff floor plan so density and access are numbers you can compare. Free to see, no obligation to order, and the drive-in rack numbers are yours either way. Call (502) 521-1485 about your Dixie Highway corridor building.

Why Radcliff Warehouses Work With Us

No two buildings near Dixie Highway corridor carry the same combination of clear height, aisle width, and floor loading, which is why we draw every Radcliff layout to the site instead of pulling one off a shelf.

Since 1997 we have supplied contract distribution, fulfillment and kitting, and 3PL operations across Radcliff and the surrounding area through Warehouse Equipment & Supplies Co. The consult up front, where we talk through the highest density available for a small number of SKUs, is why the first layout is usually close to the final one.

One number reaches the people who did the work, whether that is a drive-in rack revision during design or an additional row for a Radcliff industrial area site three years out.

    How Drive-In Rack Works

No aisles. The forklift enters the structure, and the floor holds more pallets per square foot than any other system.

    1

    Continuous rails, not beams

Pallets rest on rails carried by upright frames rather than individual beam levels, so a lane accepts pallet after pallet at the same elevation.

    2

    The truck enters the lane

The driver travels inside the bay to place or retrieve each load. Lane width, rail height, and mast clearance get dimensioned to that specific truck, not a generic one.

    3

    One open end or two

One open end gives LIFO and the highest density available. Two open ends give FIFO with slightly fewer positions, since each lane now needs clearance from both sides.

    4

    Guarding built into the design

Guide rails, column guards, and rail-end protection are part of the spec from the start to help keep trucks aligned and reduce contact with the structure.

What a Drive-In Rack Project Includes

We start by understanding the contract distribution side of your operation — pallet profile, equipment, clear height, SKU count, throughput — because those inputs decide drive-in rack capacity in a Dixie Highway corridor building long before steel is quoted.

You then get a drive-in rack position count for the Radcliff footprint, load ratings for every beam level, and pricing broken out by component, so cost per pallet position is visible rather than buried in a lump sum. Where it makes sense we run the same plan a second way, with the highest density available for a small number of SKUs.

Drive-In Rack delivery into Radcliff is coordinated around your schedule. Experienced installation crews we schedule and manage build to the approved drawing, with the system anchored to the floor and capacity-tagged. Teardown, reconfiguration and later additions go through the same contact.

High volume of a small number of SKUs
Seasonal or buffer inventory held in bulk
Cold storage and freezer rooms where cube matters most
Product too fragile to floor-stack more than two high
Buildings where floor space, not height, is the binding constraint
